To Flower Crown or Not To Flower Crown?

'Should I wear a flower crown?' is a question echoed across instagram and pinterest of late. Are they too girly? Will they go out of fashion? Will I regret it in 20 years when I look back at my wedding photos? These are all questions that have brides baffled.

Let's take a look at some of our recent flower crown posts before we take a stance.

This one is delicate and non obtrusive.

This indie version is accented with a maroon feature flower.

This one looks wild and perfectly fitting for a keyhole back dress.

The numbers don't lie here. Flower crowns are definitely here to stay. Most brides that have an outdoor wedding ceremony, incorporate blooms into their hair, and fittingly so. We've seen many brides that wear a flower crown just for the ceremony and remove it for the reception. We like this option because the flowers are bound to get a little wonky and wilted over the day. In this case, ensure your hairdresser is aware that you want to take it off at some point so that she doesn't wrap it into the updo. Bride and flower crown, you are good to go.
